Volunteer with Us!

People should not feel pressured into service, but one way for newcomers to get a feeling of belonging is to volunteer their time. All are valued regardless of depth of participation. Contact the office or Rev. Heidi if you're interested. New members are welcome in any of the following areas:

Sunday School

Pastoral Care - Meetings are on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM in the Lounge. Come to a meeting if you're interested.

Prayer Chain - Prayer chain meetings are usually held after services.

Ushering - a good chance to meet new people. It's fun and easy.

Baking and cooking - The UCW often recruits volunteers to bake goodies for memorial services or bake sales.

Sometimes we disagree with one another, but we seek to do so with respect. The struggle has led us to pay particular attention to those who are often overlooked: poor people, women and children, and people of diverse races, cultures, and sexual orientations.
